About Us

The Education Adjustment Program (EAP) is a process for identifying and responding to the educational needs of students with disabilities. Adjustments are made for students with disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum, achieve curriculum outcomes and participate in school life. Child at a Queensland State School with any of the following diagnoses are eligible for support: • Hearing Impairment • Visual Impairment • Physical Impairment • Intellectual Impairment • Autism Spectrum Disorder • Speech-Language Impairment Parents need to talk to their child’s teacher, principal or school guidance officer as the school needs to make the referral. Your child may require their Paediatrician to complete an Education Qld form to be sent to school.
