Family Law Registry offers assistance with counselling and mediation to families experiencing separation, divorce and custody issues. It encourages people to make their own agreements when settling arrangements for children, property and financial matters. Assistance is offered to help resolve difficulties without litigation. Free information sessions are offered in all Family Law registries to explain the effects of separation, court procedures and services. Do-it-yourself divorce, consent orders and parenting plan kits are also available from the court.
