About Us

For over 50 years, we have worked with the clinical and research community to support treatment and research improvements and innovations to foster a future without kidney disease.

We strive to create a healthier community through increased awareness and early detection of kidney disease. We connect kidney patients to vital resources and services to help them manage their condition and achieve a better quality of life. Through our values of collaboration, ambition, empathy and inspiration, we work with the broader kidney community to achieve our ambitious goal of healthy kidneys for all Australians.

Big Red Kidney Bus
The Big Red Kidney Bus makes it possible for people on haemodialysis to enjoy a much-needed holiday.

Kidney Transplant House
Our Transplant Houses are designed to help people in rural areas who live far away from treating hospitals.

Children and youth programs
We're is proud to run kids and youth programs for ages 8-24 to help them connect, have fun and grow more confident.

Dialysis unit search engine
If you require dialysis but want to go on a holiday, Kidney Health Australia can help you find dialysis units within Australia or overseas.

Support groups
Kidney Clubs are support groups for people living with kidney disease. They provide a great opportunity to meet others with similar experiences.

Kidney Helpline
Our Kidney Helpline provides free support and information no matter where you are in the journey, or whether you’re a patient or carer, we’re here to help.
