Access Street Vans - Mansfield

Access is a Christian charitable organisation that trains committed and caring 'missionaries' to reach out into the community with God's love. Operating 6 days a week, most of our 'runs' are into Brisbane's CBD area. We also have a a branch in Townsville that reaches out to the indigenous population.

Our 'Adopt-A-Pensioner' programme on Wednesdays from 10 am at our Mansfield centre provides pensioners with fresh food supplies and a chat. We offer Christian support for all who come. Our 'ELEVATE' get-together is a Sunday lunch and church service for homeless people and boarding house residents. SUNDAY LUNCH AT MANSFIELD CENTRE:

We pick up Sundays by bus from 11:30am onwards from: Pindari Men's Hostel, Herston Lodge and Jeays Street Vans return at approximately 2pm. Two course meal available plus gifts such as chips and chocolate. Access has received many Australia Day Awards and the senior pastor, Russell Witham, was granted the 2009 Brisbane Citizen of the Year award. We welcome workers who would like to be thoroughly trained as an urban missionary and become part of one of our amazing teams.
