About Us

Emerald Hospital provides a range of hospital and visiting specialist services to the Emerald and Central Highlands region. 

Our vision, outlined in our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy is for Emerald Hospital to be the Central Highlands hub for emergency, maternity, diagnostic and some surgical services. We will invest in Telehealth technology to provide local acess to services wherever possible.
