About Us

This course will be an out and back course starting and finishing in the same location (marked in yellow on Google Map). Starting on the path we head north along the Paradise Point foreshore, through the parkland area and towards the boardwalk at the peninsula of Paradise Point, once reaching the boardwalk participants will travel around till you reach another park which will indicate a turnaround point and then travel back in the same direction. Passing the starting point, participants will continue south and turn, returning to the finish line at the same position as the start. It is a flat course that has water/ beach views and parkland boardwalks as well. Facilities Toilets exist in the parklands area. Children's playground is available at the start and finish area, playgrounds exist all along the parklands area. Covered BBQ tables available as well. Getting There Location of startThe run starts on Esplanade Rd, Paradise Point. Getting there by public transportNearest train station is Helensvale Rail Station which has bus link. Surfside Bus 706 travels into Paradise Point regularly Getting there on footBus stops along Bayview Street, A Short walk (200m) down either Falkinder Ave, Milton Ave, Errol Ave or Sapphire St towards the parkland area. Getting there by roadCar parking is available along the park, approx 1 km in distance as well as in the residential side streets. From Gold Coast City Centre you travel north along the Gold Coast Highway, into Runaway Bay then onto Bayview Street till reaching Paradise Point. From Brisbane you travel along the M1 motorway and into Paradise Point via Hope Island Rd.
