The Seabreeze Hotel - Slade Point

The Seabreeze Hotel is a destination for locals and travellers alike, providing a relaxed and casual environment overlooking Lamberts Beach. Set in a quiet, family, residential area across from the beach, an environmental reserve and a 5-minute walk to the whale-watching lookout. This great venue is only a 10min drive to the city heart where the Bluewater Lagoon and major shopping centre is located. We offer affordable, pet friendly and accessible apartments as well as catering for both private and public functions.

Our mission is to provide the community with a place to come together and connect through free community events. Recently, we held a free community ‘fun day’ which included free jumping castles, face painting, fairy floss, games, playground, entertainment and an abundance of activities for both children and adults alike with a focus on family, fun and fitness. These are regularly run on a monthly basis. We promote Mackay’s local music industry by providing support for musicians and entertainers. We are a meeting hub for Slade Point and other Mackay community groups such as the Slade Point & Mackay Rugby Union Clubs, local cycling, walking and running groups. As well, we provide a free meeting place for conservation groups and neighbourhood watch. We support our local school & sporting community by providing additional encouragement and incentives as required.
