About Us
Enjoy a relaxed leisurely stroll through the tropical surrounds and the lush green oasis of the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens.
With over three kilometres of walking and cycling trails, a cafe and gallery perched high above the wildlife filled lagoons and a children’s play garden, the Botanic Gardens has something for the whole family. Designed to showcase our local native plants, the Gardens offers a taste of the region’s flora, fauna and food.
Gardens Administration is open
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The Lagoons Gallery and Cafe is open
Wednesday to Friday > 10am to 3pm
Weekends > 9am to 4pm
