Environmental Action & Conservation

About Us

Our goals are to promote sustainable cropping and grazing land management and raise awareness of control measures for weed and feral pest animals.

Clifton district's most serious natural resource management challenges are controlling and preventing soil erosion, which affects a myriad of issues primarily decreased soil health and biological activity, quality of water discharged into creeks which feed the Murray Darling System and weed control. Almost all Clifton Landcare projects address these issues, be they property planning, mapping, accredited environmental management systems or on ground works, plantings and pests including weeds and feral animals.
