Arafmi Queensland - Rangeville

ArafmiQld is a long standing organisation providing support services to carers providing care to friends or family members with mental health concerns.  Support includes access to information, education and training, counselling, peer support groups, relief from the caring role, respite, practical assistance and other activities as identified by the carers. 

Support groups are already running in Warwick (3rd Wednesday of every month, 10:30 - 12:30pm) at the Warwick Library, Albion Street, Warwick.  Please call 46877771 for further information or check the website for any updates.

Respite for the carer is available at the Toowoomba Hub.  Please contact the Manager on 46877771 for further information.

At the present time, we no longer have carer support groups at Arafmi Toowoomba (although we are working on changing this). Accommodation at Arafmi Toowoomba house is mostly available for people who have an NDIS package with Short Term Accommodation (STA) as part of their package. However, there may be some flexibility/negotiation with what can be offered in accommodation, eg. Medium Term Accommodation, so please contact us to see if we can assist.
