About Us
Who are we?
The FIG TREES Disability Services is an NDIS provider with extensive knowledge about NDIS, passion to support people with disabilities to achieve goals that are important to them, and with strong commitment to social justice and clients' choice and control.
What do we do, how do we do it and where?
We currently offer:
1. Support coordination and specialist support coordination
2. Psycho-social recovery coaching
3. Social work
4. Counselling therapy
5. Physiotherapy
6. Nursing
7. In-home and social support
8. Group activities
9. Short term accommodation
10. Short term respite support
We are South Australia based and can deliver the services in our office, in your own home, in community of your choice, face to face, over the phone or via video conference.
What are our strengths?
Our staff are experienced working with diverse abilities, cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations and identities. We have experience in mental health/psycho-social disabilities. Our staff are qualified and committed to provide services from a holistic approach with experience in managing complexity, high need and high risks. We are reliable, respectful, non-judgemental, responsive and person-centred.
We are committed to quality support and therefore committed to ongoing quality improvement and professional development through feedback taking and through our professional associations and networks. All staff have necessary screenings and are fully Covid vaccinated.
Our staff have experience managing priorities and complexities. We are familiar working within a multidisciplinary and cross-agency team. We have been supporting participants at the interface of justice, health, child protection, school and community mental health system while supporting participants to utilise existing family, community and NDIS funded supports.
What other languages are available?
Thanks to the diversity of our workforce, apart from English native speaking staff, we have staff who speak other languages available in order to meet the needs of the culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
