Volunteering Opportunities at Queen Elizabeth Centre

Grampians Health Ballarat has a strong and vibrant volunteer workforce, providing support and assistance to patients, clients, residents and their families, right across the organisation. To volunteer with Grampians Health no previous experience in a healthcare setting is required. We offer a range of flexible volunteering opportunities for those 18+ age.

We currently operate approximately 25 volunteer programs in Ballarat, offering a wide range of opportunities including:

At the Queen Elizabeth Centre:

• Offering warmth and companionship to patients and families in Gandarra Palliative Care
• Supporting individuals at BreastScreen on call back day
• Assisting across medical and allied health services, contributing to patient care and wellbeing
• Engaging with patients to help prevent cognitive decline in Inpatient Rehabilitation Program (HELP)
