FREE LEGAL ADVICE
* VLA lawyers at the Ringwood office can help with:
- criminal charges
- family law matters
- child support matters
- some civil matters
- general legal advice and information
* Call Legal Help on 1300 792 387 (Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.15pm) to enquire about making an appointment for legal advice
* If the matter is urgent or someone cannot easily get to the office, VLA may be able to give legal advice over the phone
* When coming to an appointment, please bring:
- all paperwork
- any records of interviews with police
- pay slips and/or Health Care Card
- bank statements

LAWYERS AT COURT
* VLA Ringwood has duty lawyers at the following courts:
- Ringwood Magistrates' Court
- Heidelberg Magistrates' Court
* The Duty Lawyer Service is free. However duty lawyers do not represent everyone. Therefore it is always best to speak to VLA before going to court
