Knox City Community

Knox Council has an approximate area of 110 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Bayswater, Boronia, Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Rowville, Scoresby, The Basin, Wantirna and Wantirna South plus parts of Lysterfield, Sassafras and Upper Ferntree Gully.

It is surrounded by the councils of Casey City, Greater Dandenong City, Maroondah City, Monash City, Whitehorse City and Yarra Ranges Shire.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Ferntree Gully and Rowville plus parts of Bayswater.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Aston and La Trobe.
