It is comprised of the suburbs of Armadale, Kooyong, Malvern and Malvern East plus parts of Glen Iris and Toorak.

It is within the council of Stonnington City.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Burwood, Caulfield, Hawthorn, Oakleigh, Prahran and Richmond.

It is within the federal electorate of Higgins.
