About Us
MCCGC offers a wide range of services across the Gold Coast region with a focus on programs that help culturally and linguistically diverse individuals feel connected in the community. All of our programs work towards fulfilling our vision of an inclusive community that values cultural diversity. CÜRA is the Aged and Community Care services branch of MCCGC. CÜRA provides individually tailored services through active living, health and well-being and in-home care.
Aged and Community Care - CÜRA
- Our In-home Support provides a range of services to support seniors to live safe, happy and well at home. Our staff speak more than 30 languages and our Home Care Workers are matched to individuals cultural and linguistic needs. Services include domestic duties, clinical care, social worker and respite, nursing care, meal deliveries, shopping assistance and social support.
- Our Active Living offers a range of programs that focus on health and vitality including fitness programs for seniors. Our Wellness Centre and outings offer a monthly calendar of activities and outings including transport to and from home, light meals, activities and information. CÜRA café offers a range of interactive information sessions on healthy lifestyles. Our Health and Well-being program provides activities to help stay healthy, fit and active as well as social outlet for like-minded people. We currently run Heart Moves, Tai Chi, Light paced Aqua fitness and Lungs in Action programs.
- CÜRA Kitchen is our home delivery meal service offering a range of menu options selected by our chef.

Established in 1983 as a key service provider to the increasing migrant, refugee and new international arrivals population of the Gold Coast, the Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd (MCCGC) is the peak regional organisation serving the needs of multicultural residents through its community development team, CÜRA and Simply Caring branches. With more than 30 years’ experience, MCCGC is well known and regarded for its role in helping people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds connect with the local community and have equal access to appropriate health and wellbeing services. Our organisation is committed to delivering the highest standard of Excellence in Customer Service which is a signature component of our organisation. We provide services to mainstream and CALD communities across the Aged, Disability and Community service sectors.
