About Us

The Orchestra features Gold Coast professional and highly skilled amateur musicians. All orchestra players, the management committee and Conductor provide their talents and skills with a commitment to:

  • Playing and performing high quality live orchestral music in our own city.
  • Developing a social network of musicians and music lovers.
  • Contributing to our community.
  • Educating and entertaining the Gold Coast community.

The orchestra meet weekly to rehearse and perfect concert programs and enjoy each others’ company. Players range in age from 17 to over 80! Players have performed professionally in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and around the world in orchestras such as the BBC Orchestra, London and the Scottish National Orchestra. Others are doctors, dentists, music teachers, accountants, engineers and retired professionals all working and living here on the Gold Coast.
