About This Community
Northern Beaches Council has an approximate area of 280 km².
It is comprised of 54 suburbs including Allambie Heights, Avalon Beach, Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights, Bayview, Beacon Hill, Belrose, Bilgola Beach, Bilgola Plateau, Brookvale, Church Point, Clareville, Clontarf, Coasters Retreat, Collaroy, Collaroy Plateau, Cottage Point, Cromer, Curl Curl, Currawong Beach, Davidson, Dee Why, Duffys Forest, Elanora Heights and Elvina Bay plus parts of Middle Harbour.
It is surrounded by the councils of Central Coast, Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Unincorporated and Willoughby.
It is comprised of the state electorate of Wakehurst plus parts of Davidson, Manly and Pittwater.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Mackellar and Warringah.
